Yeah, 7 miles is because they use NiMH. That's old tech. All the new car companies, like Tesla, are going to Lithium, which get you 100 miles or more per charge.

Sometimes, I think these large car companies use the shittiest tech and try to fool the public into thinking that they are making an effort and that the tech just isn't ready yet. It's all B.S. The tech is ready. They just don't want to take a chance.

It's infuriating. I have money in the bank just sitting there waiting for me to buy an all-electric car. But no one is selling me one. What a freaking joke. I can't be the only one who desperately wants an all-electric car. My daily commute is 24 miles round trip. Add in another 26 miles for errands, and all I need is about 50 miles a day TOPS.

Who gives a shit if these cars can't go 500 miles per charge. I don't need it. The statistics say that 95% of Americans drive fewer than 50 miles a day. So most Americans don't need it either. Yet, the big car companies still won't sell us an all-electric.

I used to think all those folks that watched that "Who killed the EV" movie were conspiracy theory nuts. But I tell you, it's getting VERY hard not to believe in conspiracy theories. Why is it that the under-capitalized start-ups like Tesla, Th!nk, and Phoenix Cars can make all-electric cars and the biggest can't make it work?

Something is fishy here.
