No. B does not follow from A. Some of the units sold or written off in Q2 were produced from wafer starts in Q4 or even earlier. So the wafer-out capacity, which is what Doug was using to estimate yield should be a mix of Q2, Q1 and earlier capacity levels. But using a 7 month old slide giving AMD's wafer-out capacity as the basis for yield estimation is pretty funny. And when caught, to compound the error by talking about Q3 and Q4 wafer starts is even more ridiculous. Petz
