| <confess> Your words make it so clear how you view the world -- there is nothing, not a word, phrase or inference, to suggest that there is a bone in your body that still yearns for peace. There is only "winning", and you think that is what you are doing. Those who seek peace and eschew "winning" in your terms are at the very least misguided, or an embarrassment to themselves, or enemies of Israel. If there ever was a search for peace in your being, it appears to have left you completely. You are the voice of Israel -- alone, bitter and unable to reach out to anybody, fighting over every word like an alleycat and clinging to the US as a "superpower" to give you the added firepower you need to fight your enemies, seeking nothing less than victory over them. The search for peace is dead, and along with it so is the future of Israel. I find that sad, but then I am not Jewish nor do I live in Israel. All I can do is comment on the tragedy as it unfolds and suggest to my government that we send you on your way alone, because that is the path you have chosen. There will be no military victory that will save Israel. |
