On Seizures...Since this is the subject of all headlines and Supreme Court Judge Roberts...

When I was 72 I had what some thought were periods of blacking out... I knew that I was experiencing something like a wave coming over me and great fear.

Finally with an intervention I went to a Neurologist who ordered an EEG... which was not normal..

I had 8 of these seizures... They were called partial complex..
I did not fall down, pass out or have to go to the hospital.

However, I was diagnosed as having epilepsy.... Nasty title but that is what it is called... and have been on medication ever since.. One pill a night. I argued with the neurologist that I had never fallen down, lost consciousness etc. so why did he say I had E..... But no matter. I could not drive for 3 months... AND if I had had another I might have lost my license.

Judge Roberts is now and epileptic.. No matter how the media paints it... when one has a seizure where one falls down... foams at the mouth as was described by on lookers.. it is epilepsy and will require medication .. Mine started in the Spring and I had a total of 8 until I was treated..

They only get worse....

Diagnosis for me.. I sustained an injury some time in my life on the front lobe of my head which resulted in the synapses not connecting as I aged...

One never knows. No one in my family ever had epilepsy....
so it was not genetic.. Injuries to the head are dangerous as they reappear in the form of .....................later in life.
