I think that is more of a blood pressure/heart issue Ken. Your BP is dropping when you rise and you get light headed. I have the same issue at times. If I just jump out of bed I can almost faint. Doctor tells me it can be a side effect of the BP medication and to just rise slowly and carefully. Now I sit upright in bed and wait a moment before continuing on to my feet and have had no more problems. Rise slowly and stand still for a moment before taking off walking.
