Libertarians' prime objective is to always frame complicated issues in simplistic terms with equally simplistic solutions. So you say. That doesn't work when religious fanatics have already declared their plan to destroy you. Yes, and what is the root cause of that attitude.... but that is another subject. Government deceit, corruption, and incompetence aside, it is nothing to lose sleep over if the country has a good proactive defense and security systems. Learn a historical lesson--the Europeans reaction to Hitler's aggression was the same as RON PAUL's to jihadists, that is "just ignore the threat and it'll go away". It didn't happen then and won't happen now. Unfortunately, you fail to understand the threat is from our own government and you, and those like you do not have the fortitude to act, as our personal freedoms and liberties are eroded little by little. The politicians and leadership of this country act in their own best interests - not what is good for America. And since you referenced Hitler - not in my lifetime, but should you live long enough, I hope there is someone to speak for you.
