JW: Long time no seee ?? So, what latest project (read modems) have
you been testing ?? Heh.. heh. I think this cable deal of Americast
with ZE should be big enough to light a fire under the Telco's. This
is precisely what I have been waiting for. Some "cable" deals with
a lot of press and PR. The Telco's cannot screw up with xDSL as they
did ISDN and a lot of public/market pressure/competition is required
for them to act on xDSL. IMO

I must admit though that in the past few weeks cable seems to be
getting ahead of xDSL in the "commercial deployment" arena. Soon,
the cable companies should start offering phone service (in some
limited areas they already are). Now if that does not do it then
I wonder what will ?? A new and powerful MSFT/xDSL application
perhaps ?? Comments anyone..
