because gold bugs think that if the dollar falls, then gold must rise... so, if you are saying that gold won't rise as the dollar falls (as telegraphed)...then what must be done to keep gold from rising? heavy selling of gold futures by goldman sachs? central bank coordination to "suppress" the gold price? it's not out of the realm for gold to go down with the dollar...at least for a while...we've all seen gold rise with a rising dollar too...so....
