Too many conspiracy theories regarding gold imho. It's not that important. The oil market is far bigger and not anyone's control. If the US Dollar falls by that amount not just oil but other commodities and all of our exports will be sounding the inflation alarm. Doesn't matter much if gold goes higher in tandem.
