I did watch some of the hearings on FOX this morning....Rumsfeld in particular.

I watched the first hour then had to go.

More BS and lies.

The first was that Tillman was killed by friendly fire. I know with absolute certainty that that has not been established. Not a shred of forensic evidence supports that finding. It is a pure WAG. And all of that testimony was a lie.

And I learned a little more about the 3 bullet holes directly from a trusted friend who has read all of the medical reports. It has been determined that they were most likely either 223 or 7.62 rounds. From close range our military 223 round leaves a bit of metallic residue. None was found. The 7.62 is an original Russian design dating back to the 1800s.They use it, Taliban use it, Nato uses it and we use it. But none of the weapons on that ranger patrol fired 7.62 ammo.

The Silver Star requirement is that you be involved in an enemy action. No enemy no medal. They tap danced around that. I think Tillman deserves the medal because I believe from reports I've heard there were enemy shooting at elements of the patrol. But stating there was no enemy action means the medal should be rescinded. They do not have the cajones for that kind of follow through.

McCrystal got a walk because they have big plans for him. But he likely authorized the rangers to go on a patrol with Afghanis they never worked or trained with and none of the rangers spoke their language. That was the critical error.

The lies that Phil Kensinger is accused of are his answers that stated, "I do not recall."
If that is the standard, everyone who testified today should be punished because each of them said I DO NOT RECALL at least several times.

And since when is CRS a crime. If it is, we are all going to jail.

This is not over...not yet.

I cannot for the life of me see why any officer would want to stay in SF after this phony BS and fiasco.
