Sorry, but that "informative" article fails to mention that there are sources and sinks of CO2. That human and agricultural CO2 emissions (from breathing, faurting and whatnot) are taken up by plants. Don't forget that ruminants and pigs etc.. eat corn, oats, wheat, fodder etc.. which are sinks for their biogas emissions. There are however not adequate sinks for CO2 emissions from fossil fuel burning.

Not to worry though, peak oil and continued dependence on fossil fuels will propel the price oil and prosperity will continue in Alberta.
