That's a major disaster around here. Lucked out- Good friend had just crossed about 20mins prior with his two kids. Couldn't locate my mother tonight till 10pm. She commutes on that bridge but thankfully she had a concert she went to after work and her phone was off for the evening.

Cell phones still failing post 9/11. Too many calls or what not but I guess there's still room for improvement in EMS or public wireless communications.

Ironic thing, I was thinking after the NY steam pipe explosion that a lot infrastructure in the US is getting old and will need replacement in the coming decade. Never would have thought I'd see something like this in my backyard.

as of now there's still 20 missing.
