One big benefit has been the voluntary reduction in drug prices by the Drug companies for those who use it.

Agreed.

And the fact that, that oppressive corporation WalMart pulled in a whole group of generic prescriptions and started selling them at $4 a month, which led to the competition doing the same.

Damn capitalists! ;-)
