Huge numbers of Iranian professionals are in the US on political asylum. Over 100,000.

I think many Iranians still have their bags packed , ready to move back to Iran, as soon as the regime changes.

Many Filipinos have have family connections to the US.

There's no reason the US should just let in anyone on an H1-B.
We should be getting the top 2/3 or better, and controling numbers.

The benefits of the US economy belong to US citizens, not to the rest of the world. Much of the rest of the world can continue lecturing the US about how money & work obsessed the US population is, how little job security, etc. They can have their 35 hour week.
