I dont think its a matter of extrication so much as aplying pressure ...should a serious proposition for peace be made. The problem is finding some way to apply a similar pressure on palastinians and neighboring arab states . In the mean time ,israel must make a bigger effort to present itself to the american public as a the good guy.......that means perhaps turning the other cheek. Behaving in an arrogant and intollerant way will not win many friends. America likes the underdog.....Israel was once just that...now palastinians have begun to usurpt that position in the eyes of the public.jmho
