I think MOT is restating that they are undergoing a shift in focus, which is what GEMS is doing in a narrower range. However, I don't think they have given us enought specifics on the slowdown in China paging to really know if it is just MOT or China.

I don't agree that missing the estimated earnings is factored in. The dip below $9 was when the street though GEMS earnings were tanking. The earlier drop to $20 was when the big growth dreams stopped. I don't think GEMS can miss by much and hold the mid teens. However, I think their next earnings goal is modest and I still expect them to hit or slightly exceed it. (Of course I should, I'm long the stock.)
