Newbie questions.

Last year I bought Intuit's Canadian tax software Quicktax and spend quite a bit of time entering my stock transactions into the associated Stock Trade Tracker software.

That worked fine for last year's taxes, but it turns out some of the recent transactions I should enter due to some spinouts can't be entered at all with STT.

So my question is whether anyone knows if all those transactions I spent so long entering can be uploaded to Quicken itself if I want to buy that.

And speaking of Quicken, I am self-employed on contract and also run a large investment portfolio for myself. Keeping in mind I am Canadian, any recommendations of which flavour of Quicken I should buy?

It looks like the Quicken Suite which combines SG and Quicktax Platiinum might be the ticket if I can either import or re-enter my stock stuff into Quicken.

TIA
