Well Mr. Radd... I would have thought the "Destroyer of Worlds" would realize that its on all our "faces," but that's the power of optimism I guess. <vbg> GW "optimistically" believes his idiocy was/is/will be the correct thing to do... You "optimistically" believe there's a non-idiot leader out there who won't ignore the obvious and make preemptive wars that cannot possibly succeed. We nihilists know better. Unrivaled power in the hands of optimists (particularly those for whom acting on "faith and belief" is a virtue in itself) is a prescription for a major spike in "satanic" idiocy. Whether said optimists come in Republican, Democrat or Taliban flavors makes little difference to anything in the Universe... save a single variety of naked ape. And even for them, the end result is always chaos and destruction. Perhaps this is why death and extinction are necessary prerequisites for the evolution of life... It has to be a prime reason that "unrivaled power" is so rare I think. We do much better when dealing with true rivals... as opposed to those we imagine. 0\|0
