Hi Denis. I hate to be a Post hog here, but where's everybody gone? -
Good question about ACA activity.
Here are a few hints from select ACA press releases:

Oct.2/97 - - Drilling and surficial pitting collected 5 tonnes of kimberlite from K5, 8.5 tonnes from K6, 27 tonnes from K14 and 10 tonnes from K14B. These mini-bulk samples have been transported to Ashton's Vancouver laboratory and processing by Dense Media Separation is continuing. The first results from this mini-bulk testing are expected in late October.
- -Further from the same release:
Two core drill rigs will commence drilling within the next week both to collect a mini-bulk sample from K14C and to begin delineation drilling on K14B and K14C.

-------------------------
Aug.8/97 update:
Northwest Territories Projects
During June and July Ashton completed nine drill holes on the Roundrock property. Two of these were drilled into the previously discovered diamondiferous Aquila kimberlite and the remaining seven holes tested geophysical anomalies related to nearby indicator dispersion fans.
Two drill holes in the Aquila kimberlite intersected limited intervals of kimberlite and brecciated granitic material and recovered approximately 150kg of kimberlite. The recent drilling has indicated that the Aquila body is highly irregular, smaller than originally anticipated, and unlikely to be of economic dimensions. Drilling of geophysical anomalies intersected kimberlite dykes up to three metres in width in two separate drill holes 500 metres and 1,500 metres north of the Aquila kimberlite.
Elsewhere in the Slave region, exploration activities are concentrating on the collection of heavy mineral samples on Ashton's various other properties.

-------------------------
July 21/97 - - A rotary percussion drill is continuing to take samples for a mini-bulk test of pipe K-14. The recognition of kimberlite under shallow overburden cover at K-14 has opened the way for the easy collection of additional material from pits, enabling the augmentation of the 10 tonne sample to approximately 25 tonnes, which will be taken from K-14. This will extend the timetable for first results into mid-to-late October.
Two diamond drills are continuing testing of kimberlites K-1B and K-19 to obtain information on the geometry of the kimberlite pipes. Following this work the drills will return to pipes discovered last winter to obtain information on their geometry and possible phase variations.
Ground geophysical crews are undertaking detailed surveys to confirm and define magnetic anomalies identified last winter, and a detailed aeromagnetic survey is under way over the original option property.

-------------------------
July 4/97 - - ALBERTA
There are 70 to 80 magnetic anomalies of various priorities to be examined in the option property, but the number of targets available for drilling during the summer will depend on ground geophysical confirmation and on conditions of access and terrain.
A detailed aeromagnetic survey is being flown over the entire Buffalo Hills option property of 1.45 million acres. Plots of new aeromagnetic data are awaited from joint venture properties adjacent to the central Buffalo Hills option property. A field camp has been established and geophysical crews have begun the ground investigation of anomalies detected by aeromagnetic surveys.
NORTHWEST TERRITORIES
On the Roundrock property, two core drill holes have been completed on the previously discovered diamondiferous Aquila kimberlite in order to acquire more sample for analysis and to outline the kimberlite more accurately. The program is continuing to search for the sources of other mineral indicator trains in the vicinity.
Programs of heavy mineral sampling are under way on the Cross and JC properties and on newly acquired claims in northern regions of the Slave Province.

--------------

Haven't heard much more from the company about a lot of these projects.
--Comments, corrections, & any additions would be appreciated.
Cheers,

PS. -Hi Violetta.
To date there have been discovered what are believed to be 16 distinct Kimberlite pipes (with MANY more targets to go):

K1A, K1B, K2, K4A, K4B, K4C, K5A, K5B,
K6, K7A, K7B, K7C, K14, K14B, K14C, K19
