In the US you can be completely wrong about public figures, but as long as you have no "malice"- you skate

Whereas in Britain you can be complete accurate about public figures and still lose. The Daily Telegraph lost Galloways suit over publishing his name in the list of Oil for Food bribes found in the Iraqi Oil Ministry, even though the legitimacy of the docs was not questioned. Now Parliament has censured Galloway, using the same evidence.
