I think it's probably RARE, but it's much more likely than that there was a grand conspiracy by the military leaders to kill him because he had become anti-war. Did you read the post I was replying to?

Fragging happens. Do I know it happened to Tillman? No. Are the circumstances suspicious? Very. Would it look bad for the army if he was fragged? Yes. That's why I said what I said. It would NOT be good PR for the military if he was fragged- the poster I was responding to thought the coverup was because they were involved- and I merely posited there were other reasons for a cover up. I assume you agree it would be bad Pr if he were fragged.

I have no idea how common fragging is- but we all know it happens sometimes. Right?

Hard to know how common it is. More common than big conspiracies, I would think.
