5. Supports expansion of embryonic stem cell research. New law, likely new federal program. . 6. Believes in reaching out to teens in order to reduce teen pregnancy through funding of sexual education and providing contraceptives. New law, likely new federal program.
7. In summation, abortion should be kept legal, safe and rare. Meaningless dribble and likely in contradiction to the program to this point.
Budget & Economy 1. Protection of the next generation through paying off the United States debt. There's a war on. Have you heard? Show me a balanced budget in wartime.
2. Reduction of outsourcing-bring more jobs back home. New laws. But how? Repeal economics?
3. Reduction of taxes within a balanced budget. Dribble for the voters. HOW? The Devil's in the details.
4. No history of support for reduction of federal spending. THAT'S certainly true.
Civil Rights 1. Supports rights being provided to gays in domestic partnerships. NICE dodge. New law. If she could ever get it through Congress, which she can't.
2. Military service should be based on conduct, not sexual orientation. (Pro-Gay rights) New law, new program.
3. Reduction of prostitution is a major concern. I thought THAT was true everywhere but NV.
4. Emphasis on women's rights being interchangeable with human rights. We tried that. It was called the ERA. It didn't get very far.
5. An apology for slavery is due, but there should be more focus on changes to civil rights in the present. NUTS! Certainly new laws and new programs.
Crime 1. Supports the "Three Strikes" rule and the construction of more prisons. HUGE new spending. But, of course, we get a balanced budget. New law.
2. Supports increased funding and stricter sentences for hate crimes. New spending. But, of course, we get a balanced budget. 2. Address the shortage of teachers by providing a salary increase. You need a baccaulerate to teach 3rd grade? I would think any decent HS grad would be qualified. You need it it ONLY because the teacher's union, which has a strangle hold on American education, says you do. Your going to pay a physics or math teacher, who can walk out the door to any technological private company, the same as an American Studies teacher, whose only demand is right where s/he is? Are you NUTS???
HUGE new spending. But, of course, we get a balanced budget. New law.
3. Create smaller class sizes and increase the number of after-school programs available to reduce gang membership. HUGE new spending. But, of course, we get a balanced budget. New law. If I can make $5,000 in an afternoon selling drugs, why would I bother with "after-school programs"?
4. Metal detectors at schools are highly valuable to safety and should not be seen as an intrusion. New spending. But, of course, we get a balanced budget. New law. Effective only until methods are found to defeat the detectors, which won't be very long once they become common. Who the H are YOU or Hillary to tell other people what they should think? "Big Brother" at its best.
5. Increase of arts education in our schools. WHY? Why not something useful?
6. Does not support school vouchers because they take money from public schools. Pro-public education voting record. Shove the public schools up her a**! THe INTENT of vouchers is to ELIMINATE public schools. There's nothing wrong with this effect. Hillary is quite obviously pandering to a few voting blocs here at the expense of the country, its future, and its kids education.
7. Charter schools are good in providing options within the public school system. And vouchers are better!
Foreign Policy 1. Fight terrorism with cooperation. Considering that Iran or the Palestinian Authority has not been willing to cooperate to date, I see no reason why the should now. More likely an excuse for large bribes to them. New laws, more spending. What do you do when they simply refuse to cooperate or lead you on?

2. Supports licensing and registering all handguns. Nice federal program here. Ineffective too. Do you HONESTLY think this will keep guns out of the hands of criminals? Sure will do a good job of disarming law-abiding citizens, though.
3. Increased control on guns will keep them out of the wrong hands. NUTS! It may increase the price of them, like the War on drugs has increased the price of drugs, but otherwise it will be as effective.

Give Al Qaeda all the money and power a NATIONAL STATE has???? Is she crazy? "I voted for it before I wanted a chance to vote against it." New law.
2. Does not support construction of permanent bases in Iraq but does support continual residual force. ????? What do we do? Use out troops as Al Qaeda targets?

4. Improve relations between Israel and the United States Right. They're going to LOVE her policies.
5. Condemns bigotry against Muslims as a form of anti-terrorism. She thinks she has the right to dictate the way I or any other American thinks?

Though Clinton has refused to recant her 2002 vote for the war in Iraq, she has since then expressed some regret for the action and abundant disapproval of George W. Bush's conduct and leadership throughout the war. Clinton's focus on such crucial topics as health care, social security, abortion, and civil rights are strongly liberal and will appeal to the majority of Democratic Party voters. It would be unwise to underestimate Clinton's strength, influence, and potential as she may very well be the first female president, leading the United States towards a truly more equal society. God save these United States and their people. |
