Mike - Re: Cyrix 6x86MX /AMD K6/Pentium MMX Benchmarks The benchmarks indicate that for particular system configurations, the 6x86MX and K6 are slightly faster than an Intel Pentium MMX. In other words, Cyrix and AMD's latest chips are now a little bit faster incertain cases than Intel's 1993 Pentium architecture which is built on a 1995 process. More specifically, this explains why Cyrix and AMD have to sell against the Pentium MMX instead of the Pentium II or Tillamook chips. Paul
