alan - a couple questions:

how wide has it been? i'd virtually ignored the nyse/amex , and about a week ago, started looking at it again. shorted some stocks in my timeframe, and they looked like they had some nice move to them, so i think i'll be staying.

also - do they trade like naz stocks (more than) 15-30 minutes after the open, or have they been trading like nyse stocks did 1 year ago?

finally...what was '95 like? i've only been daytrading since '99, and though i traded at my day job in '95, i never monitored opens closely at that time.

and as a sidebar...i like how they mention (in the article) the trading halt as a good thing. i *hate* trading halts. if i'm in a trade, i want the ability to get out, and not worry about a halt screwing me up.

tks...
