I haven't followed this line of discussion as it seems somewhat unimportant, but how exactly - or why, for crying out loud - does anyone label someone a 'bad mother' if she doesn't breast feed?

This aspect of the discussion does interest me b/c my wife was unable to breast feed. It was somewhat upsetting to her at the time, but ultimately unimportant as our son is in the upper 90th percentiles of everything that matters, intellectually and physically, i.e., he is a strapping and smart kid.

I guess I can tell my wife that he'd be in college as a 10 year old if she had been able to breast-feed. I'll wear a helmet during that conversation.
