TJ,
A question on the US dollar:

I have heard that there is VAST counterfeiting of US paper money in Asia, especially in North Korea.

I understand that now the actual printing of US bills has been outsourced to South Korea by the Federal Reserve. And I heard that North Korea has bought some of the same special type Indigo presses that are being used in South Korea to print US paper money.

Have you heard anything about this?

Also, recently when Putin visited Bush in Maine at the family compound, some of his security detail and advance men passed some US 100 dollar bills that turned out to be counterfeit, and probably of Russian origin.

Could be that as the Reagan era CIA spooks used a vast counterfeiting attack against the Soviet Ruble that the Putin government is returning the favor.

Any ideas? Maybe buy silver and yen?

BTW, Jonathan Hoenig, the ONLY one of these cable TV financial show guys to recommend ANYTHING useful, said Saturday on Fox to buy Yen or FXY. Maybe he has been listening to you. <grin>
