Yes, more Americans need to wake up and pay attention to illegal immigration's negative effect on their communities & wallets. Those who slam protesters as biased ignore important differences--our immigrant ancestors obeyed the law, wanted to assimilate asap, and didn't have access to today's social safety net financed by taxpayers. On-topic aspect--Rudy Giuliani agrees that illegal immigration is harmful for the U.S. and it's citizens. It's true that as mayor of NYC, when the gravity of the illegals situation was not yet apparent, he was not nearly as concerned as he is today. Yesterday Congressional Democrats voted to subsidize housing for illegals...they view them as future party members.
