Hawk, that is precisely the perceived threat.

That's the bogus assertion.. The US has nukes.. Doe we see Canada and Mexico, let along Cuba and Venezuela scrambling to get them too?

India has nukes.. Do we see Nepal, Bangladesh, and Burma scrambling to get them..

Do you see Sri Lanka scrambling to get Nukes?

It's one thing to be frightened of a totalitarian regime seeking and obtaining WMDs, and especially nukes..

But it's just a ludicrous argument for any Arab nation that has publicly sworn an intent to wipe Israel off the map to make to assert that Israel is a threat to their country.

I'm sorry.. but the only thing that totalitarian regimes have to fear from democratic states is becoming the victim of their own hostility and aggression.

This is exactly what happened to Saddam.. And it's what happened to the Taliban.
