I don't think that I have read on this thread how most of you would like it resolved. Whereas on the right wing threads I find that shipping them back to Mexico is the only acceptable
way as they are illegal..

Now this sounds great in some respects to me. BUT how is this to be accomplished. Since they have not documentation cannot most of them go underground..?

Also from watching the immigrants work up here they are essential to gardeners,Christmas tree farms.. asphalt work, construction....and so forth..... they would be missed by
their employers immensely.. There is no calculating how much the consumer is saving by this inexpensive labor.

It is a conundrum and quite frankly I didn't think the Bush plan was that bad.

Give the devil his due...At least it might have been workable.
