Curis plans to raise $12.9M in private placement Monday August 6, 1:37 pm ET Curis Inc. said Monday it expects to raise $12.9 million from a private placement of its common stock. Curis said under the transactions, which are expected to close August 8, the company will issue 12.2 million shares of common stock and warrants to purchase another 4.3 million shares. The Cambridge, Mass.-based cancer drug developer (Nasdaq: CRIS - News) plans to use the proceeds for research and development, according to a company filing.
