No way. The way MM's make money is by buying at the bid and selling at the ask and pocketing the difference. When they have to sell a lot (because someone else is buying) they keeping raising their prices until people start selling to them at their bid. MM manipulation does happen but not here, not now, not for 300 shares.

All the buying last week (or the week before) was most likely an individual who probably knows more than us what's going on at the moment.
