The edges on the pendulum are sharp indeed. And since they are swinging wildly and freely, they cut deeply. The Dow rally today was a sucker's rally, IMO. Did the credit markets somehow get better over the weekend? Did the folks making margin calls suddenly disappear? Has the housing market become instantly better? Have ARMs stopped resetting? Has the risk of recession somehow evaporated? > Repeat after me, "Cash is King," say it 100s of times until it is part of the DNA.
