Al Gore's twenty-something son deliberately embarrased his dad the evening before the global warming extravaganza (that turned out to be a fizzle). She's a teen...it's traditional for them to enjoy poking their parents in the eye, part of the growing process. A divorce situation requires both parents to act like adults with the children, and not try to make them bitter towards the other one. When you consider the fiasco the girl's mother created with the NY press at the time of their separation, it creates doubts about her maturity & wisdom as a parent.
