Chris, there are a lot of Internet "Flame Warriors" in Korea who have nasty things to say about the missionaries in Afghanistan.

They're not that much different from you, Ted, or JF. You ought to be proud of their "wisdom" and "courage."

You always manage to miss the point by making it seem like whatever the subject of the article, it supports your POV. However, that isn't always true. There was a key line in the article that apparently you missed:

"Korea now has more than 36,000 churches, and many of them are loud and proud with a firm commitment to missionary work and a passionate zeal for evangelism.

Sound familiar? Throw in that many of the Christians in Korea are upper class and a picture emerges: self righteous, holier than thou Christians pushing/shoving their religion onto others. How cute.....just like America's evangelical Christians.

And let's not miss another important point addressed in the article.....what the hell were these missionaries doing in a war torn country that has a history of 'evangelical' Islam? Frankly, its true........there arrogance knew no bounds.

As for your complaint about me, I would be more than happy to have evangelical Chistians do whatever they like to do in their churches if they weren't forever trying to change the lives of others in this country. Unfortunately, they are not happy just to practice their religion. They want the rest of us to practice their form of religion as well......just like the holier than thou Iranian in the article I posted to you recently.
