It depends on what you buy. You can still eat quite cheaply from such places if you focus on items like leafy greens, carrots, dried beans, sunflower seeds, peanut butter, etc.

Snow, you are correct. But would that we could, wifey and I are trapped in the world of carnivores. Whole Foods is good at that too. <g>
