Bear Stearns Hedge Funds Filing For Bankruptcy -CNBC Last update: 8/7/2007 12:36:38 PM NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Bear Stearns Cos. (BSC) has filed for bankruptcy protection in the Cayman Islands for its two hedge funds, CNBC's Charles Gasparino reported Tuesday.
