Under Roosevelt taxes were never higher. Economic and tax revenue growth were never higher either which kind of makes you wonder if your rhetoric is just that, rhetoric.

Also Laffer himself felt that the optimal (revenue maximizing) tax rate was 33%. We're below that now. So when supply siders say tax cuts will be good for tax revenue, they're lying, even by their own flawed theory...
