energyplay, BPZ Energy (BZP) -- Kindly explain your first comment. In using the term "naked shorts" I am refering to a position with a short sale of BPZ stock, where such position is not offset by any other long position, either in the common stock itself or in some derivative security.

The cost of BPZ's gas-to-power project has already been increased fairly significantly since they first dreamed it up. But this has been far overshadowed by their oil discovery, which has shown the potential to be quite a large structure.

IOW, something on order of 10-20 mmbo can go a long way toward paying cost overruns on their gas to power project!
