Isn't this the same senario played out last Q? ATML saw no problem with Q2 numbers but visability was cloudy for Q3. that dropped the stock from mid thirtys to mid twentys. I'm sure any sensible person will hedge on predicting the future, especially with all the burned investor lawsuits flying over rosy predictions. Anyways like you said its only a rumor (detailed as it is) and anything can drop a stock in this enviroment. I think alot of the money's rotating into biotechs lately and specificly away from chip and related issues, at least until the demand side of the equation clears up.
