There is nothing phony at John Edwards at all. In fact the fascist witch Corrigan here started a pro Edwards thread in 2003 touting him as a great American self-made success story, which is exactly what he is, and he doesn't have a single blemish on his career except for the brief period when he trusted Bush-cheney after 9-11. for that he has apologized. The reason the rightwing fears Edwards is that the rightwing candidates are ugly, crooked, corrupt, wrong and unpopular. So they are desperate to make up anything they can dream of. Of course the first things rightwingers dream of is being gay. In fact McCain's Florida chairman was just arrested for offering to give a black undercover cop a BJ for $20. True story. His exucse now is that he was scared the black guy might beat him up if he didn't offer fellatio quickly. Do you believ that story or do you realize that the rightwing are 50% pansies and 50% fascist creeps, which is in fact the truth. In fact some are both. Like Karl Rove for instance.
