No, I'm sure Dell doesn't want to be in Jobs' shoes. I think Dell's response to the question he was posed yesterday makes it eminently clear that he could never be up to the task Steve Jobs has taken on. I think Dell wishes he had the vision and stamina to be able to undertake the rebuilding of Apple, but it would be easier for him to cut and run than plant and nurture. I'm sure Dell is prefectly happy sitting at the head of a company that sells other people's innovations. That's great for him, and it's fine with me. But I'll take the guy with the vision any day, thank you very much. You're not going to get anything new out of Dell unless he buys it from someone else. Apple, on the other hand....

I really don't care whether Apple ends up at $210 or $2.10. I'm doing my (very) little part to support what I know is a superior personal computer. If Apple does die, no one will be able to say it was for lack of interest from millions of Mac users worldwide.

How is AAPL stock staying near 22 in the midst of all these death knells? Who knows.

Good luck to you, Alomex. You have some great points; we just look at them differently (or 'Different').
