Restructuring is done easily by email client group security setup. The group security setup is actually an organization chart. which will show up management levels no longer required. A funny thing showed up many years ago in Japanese companies. They have all the top management sit in one room(traditional Japanese company policy), each with a desktop. It immediately shows that in company streamlined operation, You won't email to the person sitting next to you? Layoff decision is easy. That is how email clients did a great job in the US, productivity increase each year is possible by streamlining email organization charts.
