The left has been trying to say terrorism is a criminal matter for years. if the bastards that did 9/11 are criminals, you don't need soldiers, you need more police. it puts it into the legal system, which the left owns. Hey, more work for the criminal bar. Also, if they're just common criminals, what do you need the army for? The left can't trust the army. They're Christians, they're white, they hate them. it also supports their argument there is no terrorism problem; it's been created by the right to terrify people into voting for them. Literally the day after 9/11, that's one day, I was getting e-mails from left wingers telling me the right was going to use it as an excuse to suspend civil liberties. They've been trying to make terrorism a legal matter forever.
