You're obviously entitled to your opinion.

But the fact is the economy and tax revenue thrived under Roosevelt's tax rates. People didn't stop working and the economy didn't stop growing. In fact it grew the fastest it ever has.

So your premise is wrong regardless of your personal opinion on tax rates.
