Canned Pineapple is a Product of Thailand! Dole, Libby, etc. all carry "Product of Thailand" on their label. The statement is in smaller type, unbolded to make the statement less noticeable. Dole no longer produces pineapple in Hawaii. Dole pineapple comes from Phillipines and/or Costa Rica -- then processed in Thailand. What happened to the dumping duties on Thai pineapple?
