Unfortunately, the Cowen analyst fails to understand that myeloma is a disease for which there is no cure. Celgene"s Revlimid and Millenium's Velcade are both used throughout the course of treatment by many patients. Revlimid is often preferred because it is oral. It is the treatment that I have chosen after my relapse last fall and I am having great success. That said, I know several patients who have relapsed after taking Revlimid and are now having good results with Velcade. Certainly patients don't view these products as being competition.
