Such a part would have a TDP of 250 Watt. Baloney!
An Opteron 2218 SE is spec'ed at 2.6Ghz and 68W. So two of them
weigh in at 136W. Those are shipping production parts.

Are you trying to have me believe that AMD couldn't find a pair
of cherry picked 2218 SE parts capable of running under
the conditions of their 3Ghz Barcelona demo?

All 2218 SE are guaranteed to stay under 68W for all load conditions.
Surely the best can overclocked 15% and still stay under 68W for the
games that were demoed. I imagine the very best can do a whole lot
better than that.
