inre: security. It would make me nervous to have my browser directly connected to my desktop.
Seems that it would be easy for someone that knew what they were doing (not me<G>) to access your desktop through the browser. (You wouldn't want somebody stealing your recipes and porno collection <GGGG>)

I'm FAR from an expert on this so may be making mountains outta molehills, but I also know that when it comes to hackers it seems that the motto seems to be, "when there's a will, there's a way."

Keep in mind that I have never used ANY version of IE.

As far as the back/forward button you refered to, NN has had a back/forward button all along.

Also, accessing perviously visited URLs with NN is done with the GO button which has always been a feature too as far as I know.
Isn't that what you meant when you mention this feature inre IE?
Maybe I misunderstood. Like I said, I've never used IE so don't really know what the hell I'm talking about.<G>

BTW, I'm using NN 3.1. I tried a beta of NN 4.0 (Communicator) and didn't like it. I'll stick with what I have for the time being. I don't have any major complaints.

I'd download IE 4.0 and take a peek, but you talked me out of it.<G>
