Jaz has been selling well also

I never got a response to my question a while back concerning
how much revenues Iomega gets from Jaz. My guess is that the
Jaz is dying, or even dead.

Two reasons:

1) CD-RW has gotten cheaper, easier to use, and the media price
has collapsed to $20. For backups, slow read/writes don't
matter anyway.

2) The SyJet offers 3 times as much storage for the same price,
assuming no extra cartridges are purchased. Look here:

Jaz SyJet
$400 gets you 1 gig 3 gig
$500 gets you 2 gig
$530 gets you 4.5 gig
$600 gets you 3 gig
$660 gets you 6 gig
$700 gets you 4 gig
$800 gets you 5 gig 7.5 gig

People have reported to me that, indeed, SyJet is selling very well.
Each SyJet sold is a Jaz not sold.
