I have not kept an eye like a hawk on my portfolio. Yes, the current turmoil scares me. Everyday I am looking at which stock to sell to raise cash. Right now Grandma's method of keep the savings under her mattress seems not a bad idea, just remember Silver Dollar Savings and Loan, and also Lincoln Financial. I still have Valero, bough ions ago, and just nibbled MRO three weeks ago - bad move, slightly under water.
